About Air tightness products
Having an airtight building is one of the principle ways of improving a buildings fabric efficiency. It stops warmed/cooled air from escaping the building helping to keep the building at a steady temperature and make it more energy efficient.
There is a minimum level of airtightness required to pass the SAP calculation which forms part of Building Regulation part L.
